Distant Music has been one of the finest examples of Soul Full house for 15 years, and label boss JON CUTLER refreshes everyone's memory with the "Volume 1 Compilation" featuring OSUNLADE, DENNIS FERRER, KERRI CHANDLER, KARIZMA and a ton of others that made the label what it still is today; "Vahina" comes from ROCCO's SMOKE IN THE CITY, a more big room sound then his usual territory on MN2S; "Infection Point" comes from MAT PLAYFORD's HERMANI on the seminal UK label Paper; JUNIOR WHITE & NINA CREESE throw "Something in the Air", and it's filled with Soul on Spirit Sound; two producers who know a thing or two about deep house, SOUL MINORITY and JOSHUA IZ, remix ATNARKO's "Close Your Eyes" for Onethirty; JAY TRIPWIRE remixes TOM LOWN's "Love Potion" for Lost My Dog; the smooth vocals of NICOLE MITCHELL are featured on the vibin' "I Don't Need You" for Bigspin London; SUN ORCHESTRA's "Sundance EP" from 2000 is the latest from the Straight Up vaults; and THE 5 BEATS' "DJ Breaks" drops on Real Tone's sister label, Franck Roger Productions.

The sounds of NRK are wide and varied, and are also responsible for some of the most familiar House, Tech and even Deep tracks of all time. Offering up a taste of their astounding back catalog, "Underground Goodies" displays some classics from GEMINI, PEACE DIVISION, IAN POOLEY, SPENCER PARKER, and an impenetrable list of who's who across all genres; CLAUDE VON STROKE and BEN KLOCK remix KENNY LARKIN's "Glob" on Planet E; JIMPSTER and POL_ON remix the lovely "People Say" on Freerange; combining the special touch of dOP with the power of artists like NOZE, WAREIKA, and CATZ & DOGZ, you will get some serious Bombs and Watergate presents four of them on the "Penguin EP"; MIKE MONDAY offers up his remix of DA LUKAS' "Go" on Beef; "Central" is the first new TECHNASIA album in 5 years, and surely one of the musical highlights of the year; and for the next installment in International Deejay Gigolo's compilation series, DJ HELL focused on Vienna and other European producers for "CD Twelve", a 32 track monster of which 17 are previously unreleased.
