The INLAND KNIGHTS really need no introduction, as they still consistently carry a presence in House DJ's arsenals after over a decade, either through their own top selling productions or from their mainstay label, Drop Music. Stronger than ever, the boys team up with vocalist JAMON for "The Bump", a funky, bouncy EP in true Knights style, and only available at Stompy. The Australian duo of THE HOUSE INSPECTORS are the latest in a crew of producers from Down Under that have popularized a sound that straddles both The Funk and the Soul Full sounds of music, and their latest EP "Funky Bizness" is a fine example of why the Outback has been dominating the charts; Soultone is the latest spinoff of ANDREW MACARI's Greenhouse and Tastie labels, and he kicks it off with his EP "Soul Infusion"; FUNK MEDITERRANEO and JEFF SERVICE have both been producers on the rise this past year, and they continue the momentum with "Disco Volante" on Jeff's Ficus Tree; Disport's third release, "Placebo", sees label boss MARC JAY in collaboration with Philadelphias own OHSHA KAI for a percussive slice of deep and funky, laid back house with FUNKY TRANSPORT providing his tripped out take on things; we're happy to welcome Bouq's "Family and Friends" to the Stompy team--top notch release from top notch talent; JANGATHA gets "Caught Jackin" on Union; and THOMAS SAHS' debuts the new label based on his popular blog Crunkbox with "Lookin Good" from YEAH CLOWNS, which features Thomas's downtempo mix next to LATENIGHT SOCIETY's funky uptempo mix.

Sole Music and sublabel Tronicsole have been on fire lately, and their latest heater from label staple HIRO is "Dance With Me". Our favorite is 'Lift Me Up', with the familiar vocal snippet that drives the track to the perfect place. Seasons reached out to Germany to find the new producer doing great things, SOLE KITCHEN, turning out the perfect record to kick the sunny season into full motion, "Back in the Day"; DAVIDSON OSPINA is busy this week--first he remixes "Not Enough" for Onethirty, and his label Ospina Digital also drops the soul gem "Maria" from COLE SONORA; I Records release volume 5 of their "Selector" compilation series, which features tracks from KEVIN YOST, FRESH & LOW, PETER FUNK, and DJ SNEAK; OSCAR P collaborates with the vocals of MARCUS PEARSON for his latest single "Violet" and enlists a heavy batch of remixers, including ABICAH SOUL, DJ SMASH, and MAURICE JOSHUA; "Can’t Stop This Feeling" breaks a new artist for Simple, as Gadi Mizrahi, one half of Wolf+Lamb, unleashes a sublime package with remixes from LEE CURTISS and SIDESHOW; PEVEN EVERETT drops his latest hit "Show You Why" on Tribe, which features his impressionable vocals and remixes from ZEPHERIN SAINT; Salted Music drop "The Flavor Savor Vol 4", which includes NATHAN G reworking label boss MIGUEL MIGS and a new single from regular SONNY FODERA; and Kolour continues to do big things with SOUL MINORITY's triumphant return to the label, "Six Nine". Not stopping there, the label enlists Detroit legend RICK WADE, the unpredictable BLEEP DISTRICT, and the sublime talents of ATJAZZ.

DAPAYK is a producer and live act to be reckoned with for the last ten years, and in a few weeks his superb label Mo's Ferry will give us a double album with new tracks, refreshed classics and a number of remixes of his prolific projects, and "Back To Me" is a sneak peek of what to expect. If the rest of the album is this good, it could be a contender of one of the best albums of the year. The superstar also delivers a genius Rhodes-inspired interpretation of FLORIAN MEINDL's "Leaving Home" and DANIEL KAMPF also gives an excellent turn on a more deeper tip for Flash; Stir 15 release "The Lost Tracks 1", and we're glad they found them, as singles from STEVE BUG, VINCENZO and C-ROCK are now here for the masses; SOMEONE ELSE and YOUandME are part of Rotary Cocktail's remixes of the album "Burning Boats"; fusing the sdubtlety of Detroit techno with an overwhelming euphoria, TONY LIONNI is an exciting newcomer with his "Timeless EP" for Francois K's Wave Music; young talent BAS AMRO drops three amazing tracks with a deep groove and hooky melody lines on his "New Period EP" for Katchuli; hot new label Two.Birds release the fresh recipe of "Zauberwurfel" from D DIGGLER; Drumpoet Community, the insurmountable sublabel of Compost, once again show how its done with "Drumpoems Verss 2 EP 2", an impressive selection from the original comp, with two new versions and an exclusive track in addition to KAWABATA's 'Feelin It'; and after 3 exciting years of rising to the top of a new standard of dance music, Oslo is publishing its first compilation, "Dont Believe The Hype", consisting of a jaw-dropping selection of artists which leave nothing to be desired.

Down N Out get a couple big projects--first up is ROBERTO AUSER's debut album "Secret Carnaval" for Bear Funk, followed up by THE TIME AND SPACE MACHINE's psychedelic trip, "Set Phazer to Stun". "The Glow" from popular Wolf + Lamb artist LEE CURTISS, is a disco-tinged groover to add to the moody Cityfox bundle; TUFF CITY KIDS, MARK E, SILENT PARTNER and the one and only MATTHEW HERBERT are featured on Future Classic's "Beware of the Remixes"; and originally meant as a single for 'Buffet Libre', Gomma head TELONIUS chose the classic "Hit Me With A Rhythm Stick", and received a massive response with Dj's everywhere asking him for the tune. He decided the demand was there and has released it along with legendary producer IAN POOLEY, Italy's BOTTIN, and new Austrailian superstar CASSIAN contributing their remixes.
