Inland Knights

1. Vernon & DaCosta “Nightshift” ......”A track that got a lot of plays from us , always went down well. Quirky leftfield house which was deep but driving & fitted well in our sets at the time.”

2. Prztz “Five Days of Funk”.....”A monster track for us! Love that plunging bassline! When I think of definitive house music this is one of the tracks that comes to mind, perfect in every way.”

3. Phil Weeks “Can’t Get Enough” ......”Love Phil’s locked-in grooves and this is a great example of the thing he does well! Cool filtered loops and solid rhythms slowly building through the track. Always a winner, and for me a Robsoul highlight.”

Sonny Fodera

1. Phil Weeks “All Day Every Day” ......”Dope bassline, nice groove and awesome vocals.”

2. DJ Sneak “Move Your Butt” ......”Love the use on this Acapella, beats are extra fresh, awesome track.”

Dan Ghenacia

1. Mike Dunn presents Mr 69 “Phreaky MF” ......”One of my favorite tracks ever - I used to play this track so much back in the days. Now it’s back in my crate again with this new edition. Funky, funky.”

2. Lorenzo “Get Deep”...... “I used this track in my compilation ‘No Way You Can Sleep’ out in 2002. It was the time where I was working a lot in the studio with Robsoul owner Phil Weeks. Now we are back in the studio together. New releases very soon.”

3. Gemini “Where Do I Go” ...... “It’s a classic, was out for the first time on my compilation for Cyclo. I used it again for my new compilation ‘Dan Ghenacia's Sound of the City Paris’ on Ministry of sound. Gemini is for me one of the most talented artists for underground house music scene. A lot of people think its new track. This is what we call timeless music.”

Tommy Largo

1. JT Donaldson “Make You Higher” ......”Great deep acid track. 303 basslines combined with funky beats = winner.”

2. Joss Moog “Room 25” ......”Every release Joss Moog did for Robsoul is spot on. This is one of his finest jams.”

3. Phil Weeks feat Diz ......”This is my alltime favorite Robsoul release. Great bassline, dope beats, sweet synths and Diz on vocals.”

Anhanguera

1. Mike Dunn presents Mr 69 “Phreaky MF” ......”Still love and play this track. One of my fav releases on Robsoul indeed. Dope spoken words over a disco base always do it for me. This track has become a classic for me.”

2. Joss Moog “Forever Pimpin” ......”Another tune that I still play a lot. I am a big fan of Joss Moog and this joint makes me know why. Sexy jazz loops over a classic acid house beat and moody bassline. A perfect combination that's gonna work on the dancefloor forever.”

3. Dirty Sole feat Mike Dixon “Back in the Day” ......”Ah yeah, this track is awesome. Love the rap along the jazz thing. Dan X's beats always hot. I use to still drop it here and there too.”

Joss Moog

1. Mike Dunn presents Mr 69 “Phreaky MF” ......”Probably my favorite. I love everything in this track; the compression, the funky beat loop from loose joints and the groovy bass.”

2. DJ W!ld “Brunch With Sinatra” ......”I remember the first time Phil made it listen to me he told me "I know this is for you"... indeed, I fell in love with that jazzy voice and the melody of the brass.”

3. Lorenzo “Get Deep”......”Awesome track, deep and funky as I like it!!”

Craig Hamilton

1. JT Donaldson “Make You Higher” ...... “This was one of the first Robsoul records I remember buying way back in the day & I was instantly hooked on the labels sound as a result of this acid driven classic. Both mixes on the EP are great & you can't ever go wrong with a JT release.“

2. Dirty Sole feat Mike Dixon “Back in the Day” ...... “Dirty Sole never fail to disappoint & this track is certainly no different. Driving percussive rhythms, ladder bassline, some quality jazzy horns accompanied by a sick vocal from none other than Mike Dixon. This track always works the floor in a big way.”

3. Phil Weeks & Joss Moog “Back in Effect” ...... “This is a proper tune, I can't believe it's almost 2 years ago this dropped. The vocals are just right in this one, reminds me of that French sound that was so popular at the tail end of the 90's. Solid track & was massive in my sets. This track is the epitome of perfection.”
